The Westfield Clinic is a general practice facility with specialist services. It provides mainly primary and secondary care. We want to prevent ill health and for those who fall ill, provide them with good quality health care.
Eight doctors work in the Clinic. The Clinic runs morning sessions from 0830am to 1400 hours and afternoon sessions from 1600 hours to 2000hours.
We believe that it is important for people to be aware of the state of their health. That is why whenever we see a patient we routinely check to see if they have other problems. Our patients regularly have their weight, height and blood pressure measured and for those at risk of diabetes we also do a urine test.
The Clinic has a laboratory on site to carry out haematology, biochemistry and microbiology tests. We also provide ultrasound services.
Antenatal and postnatal services
The Clinic has a team of obstetricians and Gynaecologists who run antenatal clinics, conduct deliveries and review mothers 6 to 8 weeks after delivery.
The Clinic offers routine immunisations for children via the practice nurse.
The Clinic provides 24 hour cover. A doctor is available to see patient out of hours between 2000 hours and 0800am. The Clinic can be contacted or the patient can come directly to the Clinic.
Different surgeries, major and minor, can be conducted in the Clinic.
The Clinic has 16 in-patient beds. There are 3 single wards, 3 wards with two beds; and 2 open wards with 3 to 5 beds. In situations where patients need more specialised care, they are referred to a tertiary hospital.
