Consultancy Services
We have consultants clinics in Cardiology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Pediatric Surgery, Psychiatry
ROUTINE APPOINTMENTS
Eight doctors work in the Clinic. The Clinic runs morning sessions from 8:30 am to 14:00 hours and afternoon sessions from 16:00 hours to 20:00hours.
HEALTH CHECK
We believe that it is important for people to be aware of the state of their health. That is why we routinely check to see if they have other problems whenever we see a patient. Our patients regularly have their weight, height and blood pressure measured and for those at risk of diabetes, we also do a urine test.
DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES
The Clinic has a laboratory on-site to carry out haematology, biochemistry and microbiology tests. We also provide ultrasound services.
ANTENATAL & POSTNATAL SERVICES
The Clinic has a team of obstetricians and Gynecologists’ who run antenatal clinics, conduct deliveries and review mothers 6 to 8 weeks after delivery.
IMMUNISATION
We carry out regular immunization for infants according to the Gambia immunization schedule.
EMERGENCIES
The Clinic provides 24-hour cover. A doctor is available to see the patient out of hours between 2000 hours and 0800am. The Clinic can be contacted or the patient can come directly to the Clinic.
SURGERY
Different surgeries, major and minor, are conducted in the Clinic.
ADMISSIONS
The Clinic has 16 in-patient beds. There are 3 single wards, 3 wards with two beds; and 2 open wards with 3 to 5 beds. In situations where patients need more specialised care, they are referred to a tertiary hospital.

The Westfield Clinic is the first Gambian owned and privately managed hospital with charitable status. A Board of Trustees oversees the affairs of the Clinic. The Clinic does not receive any support from the State and depends on funds raised from the services it provides and donations from benefactors. established in May 1969
